Mission Viejo was planned around families — the lake, the parks, the sports fields on every corner. It’s one of the great youth-sports towns in California, and it’s no coincidence that it’s also home to a thriving homeschool community: when your child’s life includes serious training, a conventional school day stops making sense.
Edu-K is built for exactly this. We provide one-to-one tutoring in your home or online, plus small group sessions at our Orange County learning center, and full-time schooling there or in your home — shaped around training schedules, family life, and your child’s real pace.
Education that trains around the training
One-to-one tutoring. Personalised instruction in math, English, science and more — assessed properly at the start, taught by experienced professionals, and adjusted as your child progresses. Catch-up, consolidation, or acceleration: the plan fits the child.
Group tutoring. Small, structured sessions where homeschoolers learn alongside other homeschoolers — academic momentum and social connection in one, at our most accessible rate.
Full-time schooling. Our most complete program — and the core of what Edu-K does. Your child enrolls, free, in an accredited California online public school (which covers the curriculum, records and an accredited transcript), and Edu-K educators teach the school day — in small cohorts at our Orange County learning center, or in your home — mornings 8:30am–12:30pm. Monthly fees from $1,070 depending on days per week — see the full-time schooling page for details.
Summer & holiday camps. Academic camps through the breaks — the perfect complement to a summer of sport.
Specialists in student-athletes
Mission Viejo produces swimmers, soccer players, baseball players and gymnasts of serious calibre — and serious sport is unforgiving to conventional schooling. This is Edu-K’s home turf.
We keep competitive young athletes academically on pace around training blocks, travel meets and tournament seasons. Sessions shift when the schedule shifts; education adapts so the sport — and the academics — can both be excellent. See our student-athletes page.

Common questions from Mission Viejo homeschool families
Can sessions move around a competition calendar?
Yes — routinely. We reschedule around meets and tournaments, shift sessions online during travel weeks, and adjust intensity across the season. Sport families are our normal, not our exception.
My child trains 20+ hours a week. Is full-time schooling realistic?
It’s exactly who our full-time program is for. Teacher-led academics compressed into the hours your child actually has — a complete education that coexists with elite training.
We’re new to homeschooling mid-season. Can you help us transition?
Yes. We assess where your child is, map the essentials for the rest of the year, and build a plan that keeps them on track from day one.
Where do sessions take place?
One-to-one tutoring happens in your home or online — whichever suits your week. Group sessions run at our Orange County learning center, and full-time schooling can be taught there or in your home. We’ll map the right setup for your family in your free consultation.
